Trinkentag 2012

 Is it Halloween?  No just an excuse for the dads to get together, have some beers, dress silly and have a little race.  First a run around Balboa Island (pushing a child or animal - my favorite is someone carried a goldfish), then a swim/paddle/kayak (your choice) and then a bike ride.

 Bonus points - not only did he run pushing two children but he also took them on the kayak.  Dad how come I didn't get to go on the paddleboard with you?  Maybe next year.

June Adventures - Chicago Part 1

The weekend of June 8th I was in Chicago visiting my Gramma Barb, Uncle Matt, Aunt Megan and Cousin Natalie.  Boy oh boy did I have fun!  First we hit up the splash park...

Busy Weekend

Friday night mom and dad got a sitter so they could go out and celebrate Aunt Katy's birthday..  

Saturday I went to a 2 year old bday party.  It was Mickey themed - I rocked the ears and I was showing off my walking skills.  

What a cool cake.  Though I didn't get any cake I did get to try a rice krispie treat for the first time.  Mmmm I like sugar!
